3D animation includes the animation of virtual 3D models created in high end 3D software. Any 3D model that we create can be animated - whether it's a cartoon character, an extinct animal or beating heart. Even an object which is ordinarily inanimate such as a tube of toothpaste can be animated and given character.
Animations can be created in any common digital format or transferred to beta for broadcast.
Modern-day computer graphics software goes far beyond just the simple storage of polygons in computer memory. Today's graphics are not only the product of massive collections of polygons into recognizable shapes, but they also result from techniques in shading, texturing, and rasterization. |
